BESULTS OF SATURDAY'S FLAY. Bowlers hope to get in another month's play, before the greens are closed down for the season. So far the playing period has been a particularly good one, embracing a very fine summer and a minimum of unplayable Saturdays, and the winter rest for the greens will be a well deserved one. Owing to the prolonged spells- of dry- weather since January 1, some of the greens are looking a gc<xl deal the worse for wear, but that is perhaps to be expected of those greens that are played upon on every fine afternoon throughout the season. This was a splendid game, the figures being 29' all on the 21st head. Then Hope laid ono on the "kitty"with his second bowl, and Hemsley drove with his Inst threo bowls, and Hope got four in. Hopo is now in. the finals, and will have to play either Cooper or M'Lemian, who have not played off yet.
