NORTH OTAGO GRAIN MARKET. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Oamaru, March 19. A fair amount of wheat has changed hands during the week at slightly in advance of the previous week's Quotations. For the most part the sales were of comparatively small lines, but several exceeded 20C-0 bushels. Velvet was most sought, and, for that variety, the prices given wero 2s. lljd. and 3s. net at country stations, the lusher rate being tho more general. Oats are scarce, and prices arc about a penny above the previous week's level, 2s. and 2s. Id. net at'country stations having been given. The discovery that potatoes aro pretty widely affected by a destructive erub has at onco checked business, and sent up the value - of 60und tubers, £3 net on trucks havine been paid.

FEILDING MARKET REPORT. Mossrs. A. H. Atkincon and Co., Ltd., of Feilding, report as follows:—At Erida.v's sale wo had the usual entry of nirs. poultry, and a. lares'quantity ot fruit, produce, and sundries. For pigs there w,v; little inquiry, and bidding was lifeless. Poultry showed little alteration. Young turkeys are inquired for—gobblers or hens. Peaches were in heavy sunnlv. also tomatoes. Potatoes of pood o.unlitv are plentiful, with slack inquiry at prices asked by vendors. There is cood inquiry for Algerian oats. Quotations:—Pies: Wcancrs and slips, 25., 35., 3s. 6d.; stores. 6s. 6d., fe., 10s., 18s. fid.; light porkers. 95., 12s. Poultry: Hens (at per pair), 2s. Sd„ 35., OS. 3d.; pullets, 45.: roosters and cockerels, 25., 2-3. 3d., 2s. 6d., 35., 3s. 3d.. 4s. fid.; chicks, Is. 3d., Is. Gd.; ducks, 45.: turkey hen, 4s. 6d.
