With reference to tlie appointments of the adjutants and non-commissioned officers referred to in The Dominion yesterday under the heading of "The New Zealand Staff Corps," tlio clause which read: "Except in the case of temporary appointments, or of those N.C.O.'s who reach the a<je for retirement beforehand, the appointments will lie for a period of four years, datinp; from March 17, 1911," is, by request, amended to read; "Except in tho caso of temporary.appointments, or of those who reach the ntje for retirement lieforehand . . "N.C.O.'s" is deleted. In our columns to-day is advertised for polo onn of the famous Waimarama sections, itawke's Bay. It is good land, well watered, and magnificently situated.
