In connection with tho work of the British and Foreign Bible Society, it is interesting to learn that in 1909, 2260 cases of Scriptures, weighing 272 tons, were sent out from the Bible House in London. In 1910, 2845 cases, weighing 333 tons, wero dispatched. Inquiry was made as to wliat orders wero actually in hand on January 18, awaiting execution, and these facts camo to light. The following languages were included: —English, Greek, Syriae, Chinese, Finnish, Italian, Russian, Turkish, Javanese, Malay, Madurese, Xdau, Norwegian, Slavonic, Japanese, Fijian, Arabic, Cujarati, Swabili, Icelandic, Dutch, French, Armenian, Hebrew, Persian, Syriae, in Carshun, German, Tahitian, Bohemian, Spanish, Fanti, Grobo, Tonino Yaliuilia, Latin, Danish, l'anjabi, Snto, Thonga, Chuana. Sliona, Tamil, Tolnga, Hindi, Irish, Bulgarian, Lithuanian, Polish, Rinnan, Ruthonian, Swedish, Judeeo-German, Servian, Croat, Mandarin, Urdu, Sinhali, Marathi, Welsh, Bengali, Korean, Samonn, Trans-Cau-casian Tnrki; in ail. G1 languages. The total number of books on order amounted to 205,118. t
