KRSKIXF, CHURCH, MOXTREAL. The Rev. Dr. George Hanson, ministor of Duncnirn Presbyterian Church, liolfast, and formerly of llarylolmne, London, has linen unanimously and enthusiastically called to the pastorate of Krskine Church, -Montreal, ono of tlie strongest -and most missionary-spirited congregations in the Dominion of Canada. The stipend offered is £I'JQO per annum, with.a yearly holiday of six weeks. The Rev. Dr. llowatt, the retiring pastor, is to rcceivo £300 a year during life. It may. be remembered by
some of onr readers that Krskino Church, JlontiT.nl, was once ministered by tile Jtev. Dr. Monro Gibson. It was indeed hi s Jn*st charge, ami then lus spent nine happy and fruitful years as colleague to the late Eev. Win. Taylor, Erskine Church lias other iinjes with Britain; its membership to-day includes, two sons of the Dev. ])r. M. 51. Thornton, Moderator-Designate of tuoPresbyterian Clmrch of England. Tho Presbytery of 31 on I real intends requesting the Rev. Dr. Monro Gibson and the llev. Dr. Thornton to appear at the Presbytery of Belfast, in support of tho call from Krskino Church to Dr. Hanson.
