THE BOYS' INSTITUTE.
The annual social of the Boys' Institute Cricket Club was held in the institute last evening, Mr. C. P. Coloneus -occupying the chair. Dr. Arnold Izard, the president of the Club, was present, also Mr. M'Cluskey the secretary, Mr. Ryan, of the Y.M.C.A., and several of the members of the Managing Committee. Dr.. Izard congratulated the winning team upon their victory in gaining the cup and especially upon the fact that it was won without a single defeat. At the close of tho proceedings Mr. C. A. Dick, coach td the Boys' Institute Club, was presented with a handsome toilet case from the boys of the Club.
