Governor in Council for an Order or Onlers-in-C'ouneil -authorising the con- , struction by the said Borough Council of ft Tramway in the said Borough, and notice is hereby given that plans and cross-sections showing the nature of the, works to bo undertaken, together, with ■ the descriptions thereof, are deposited at tho office of the said Council, situate in .no King's Chambers, Wellington, and are open for inspection without lee during ordinary office hours. A description of the said works, with explanatory notes, is set out in the schedule hereto. THE SCHEDULE-MIRAMAR AVENUE TRAMWAY. The Tramway commences at the Miramar Wharf, connecting with the tram- • way laid along the Wharf and thenco along Miramar Avenue. In the proposed Order the Route is divided into two parts Route "A," extending from the w;harf for a distance of about V chains (tCtift.), along '.'liramar Avenue, and Ri'iite "B" from the terminus of Route "A" along Miramar Avenue to connect .with the electrio tramway from the City of Wellington to Miramar North at Ihe junction of Alexandra Street and Park Koad with Mira- ■ mar Avenue, a distance of IS-T5 chains. The tramway will he used for the carriage of goods only. The tramway is ot Ihe same gauge as tho electric tramways '■ in the Borough, viz., I feet. The rails are to be rolled fteel weighing f/*lb. per lineal yord and of the grooved girder pattern laid on and spiked to wooden sleepers.
