(By Telegraph-Special Correspondent.) Wanganui, March 16. The Wanganui Hospital Board has lot a tender to Mr. W. Knuckey. for .IM2G3 for the construction of the new operating theatre. In addition to both tho Borough Councils, and both the County Councils, and both the Town Boards, tho Waiinariuo County Council has also been cited as a party to tho inquiry which Mr. W. S. Short is to hold into matters affecting the maintenance and control of the Wanganui Town Bridge, with a view to arriving at a more equitable distribution of the cost of same than obtains at present, and by which tho whole expense is thrown on Hie Wanganui Boroug-h and Count.v Councils. It had been 'intended to hold tho inquiry next week, but, as that lias been found unsuitable, the date has been [ postponed till May 2. I The Hon. K.
