MOTOR-CYCLE TRIALS.

AN ERROR IN TIMING. Competitors who took part in. the New Zealand Motor Cycle Club's reliability trials over the course to Wa-. ngaivui and back anticipated hearing the results of the trials yesterday, but, owing to an 'unfortunate error, ono of tho sections of the trial .will have to be run again, and, in the meantime, the balance of the results are being withheld. The trouble arose in connection with tho hill climb at Paekakariki, and was not discovered until tho results were being worked out. However, it was found that an error had been made in tho method of timing the competitors, and' the committee of the club has decided to re-run the hill climb section of the comootition.

. The event will bo got off $oxt Satur-. day afternoon* and will be run under exactly the same conditions as those governing .last Saturday's climb. Every competitor who started last Saturday will bo allowed another climb. In conjunction with next Saturday's run an open hill climb for heavyweight and lightweight classes'will bo held at Faekakariki.
