ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
■■■ .ACCIDENTALLY. DROWNED. (Dy Telocrapu.—Proas" Assdciatlon.i Napier, March 14. At an inquest held on the body of a man named Thomas M'Grath, found in tho Esk River, Pctane, on Monday, the evidence showed that deceased was without money, and had been sent to work by the district engineer., Deceased ;yas CO years of age, and a 'hard-work-ing man. Tho river was. not fordablo on tho morning in question, and it is thought that,M'Grath was accidentally drowned whilst attempting to cross it. Tho coroner returned a-verdict to that effect.
