The Board of Agriculture is concentrating its energies on suppressing the out-' break of foot and mouth disease at Chobham, Surrey, and in detecting the source, which is believed to bo external. Many veterinaries are; engaged in dealing with the scourge. The Board has scheduled a vjido'area"for isolation, but even if the, disease, is.. ...as, promptly as the Yoslwhi'tei outbreak oi July, 1910, the summer, will be far advanced before the. stock traffic to South America- can be resumed, unless the Argentine agrees to a quicker removal of the embargo than it did last year.
