AFTER SIX YEARS. Another instance of how the law may operate after a considerable lapse of time is afforded by an arrest made in the city last night. In the year 1905, at Masterton, a man named Charles Williams, alias Doyle, received a sentence of one month's imprisonment on a chargo of assault. Before serving the sentence Williams disappeared from Masterton, and was a "wanted" man until last night, when Detcctiyts Cafsells and Mason placed him under arrest to undergo the term of imprisonment.
