London, March 11. The National Peace Council, in an address to the Earl-Marshal, the Duke of York, suggested that the Coronation pageant should not be confined to the naval and military forces, but should give due prominence to peaceful arts and industries.

The Duke, in reply, regretted that the procession was so long that it was impossible to add to it.
