LATEST LABOUR ENTERPRISE. By Telejraph—Press Association-Copyright Sydney, March 11. The New South Wales Minister for Public Works, Mr. Griffith, stated that it was tho intention to establish a Government timber yard for the supply of the needs of tho different State Departments. Ho proposes to contract with a couple of North Coast mills for their whole output. This departure will ■ mean a great saving financially, and also overcome the difficulties recently experienced when the Government had been unable to obtain supplies, and public works had to be held up in consequence.
