Leaving Wellington for Sydney yesterday, the Union Company's fine passenger steamer. Manuka was a full ship as far as passengers were concerned. A permit for sonic 60 extra passengers had to bo obtained owing to the number of pcoplo travelling. It is reported that the Union Company's steamer Aparima arrived at Durban on Tuesday last. She is en route from Melbourne to Dunkirk. On March 29 tho F.-11.-S. Line's steamer Durham, now under charter to tho NewZealand Shipping Company, and loading on the coast, will leave the Bluff for London. This afternoon the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company's steamer Waiwera is expected to clear Wellington for London with a full load of general cargo. It is expected to dispatch the Union Company's steamer Pohcrua- from Wellington for Greymouth on Monday.
