A conference of the Australasian Tramway Officers' Association was to have been held at Adelaide on March 21 next, at which Mr. Cable (assistant tramways engineer) liud been deputed to represent the local tramway service. Mr. Cable was to have left for Adelaide this week, but a notification has just been received that the conference has been postponed, it is now proposed that it shall next spring.

The twenty-seventh anniversary of tho Brooklyn Baptist Sunday School will be celebrated on Sunday. Tho Nov. J. K. Archer, of Napier, will preach morning, afternoon, and evening. The singing cf tliL\ children will be a uvest feature of tha'serviccs. A chorus of over 150 voices will render appronriate hymns. The services will bo held in the now church.
The secretary for tho Home for the Aged Needy invites tenders by advertisement in another column for ' supplying certain articles.
