Sir,—There appeared. in' your columns recently a telcgrnnr which staled that a Darracq Motor-car had established a world's record in the South Island. I have awaited particulars of this performance, but so far have neither heard nor seen'anything. May I ask your correspondent in Timaru to publish in The Dominion' the fullest particulars rcsardiiiß this record, statins also tho names of the iudRCS," umpires, timekeepers, etc.? -I am," etc., SCEPTIC.
