GREYTOWN NOTES.
Tho usual summer show of tho Lower Valley Horticultural and Industrial Society win held hero on Thursday. It was one of the bust shows held here, and was a credit to the Valley. Visitors were present from all parts, and exhibits wero . very numerous. In tho evening several guessing competitions were held, aud votes taken for the bestdressed table.
Rain has started to fall here, and will do a lot of good to tho country. Tho Town Clork (Mr. Dudding) is progressing f.s well as can be expected, and will be out again in a few days. Members of the local Golf Club aro talking ot making an early start this season j in factj some have started practising already,
