i THE RHODES CUP. (By Tcletpraph-I'rosa Associations Christohuroh, March 10. The Rhodes Cup polo tournament concluded to-day when the final for the Cup was played between tho Hawarden and Pareora B teams. After a closelycontested game the Hawarden won by 14 to 13. Tho teams were:—Hawarden: G. L. Stead, H. T. Little, L. Rutherford, and C. Rutherford. Pareora B: T. Sinclair, C. L. Orbell, B. M. Anderson, and M. Jamieson. Hawarden had a handicap of two goals and Pareora twelve.

TOURNAMENT AT GISBORNE. Clsborno, March 10. The New Zealand Polo Association's tournament was brought to a conclusion to-day on the Bushmoro ground. Thv> game was between tho Poverty Bay A and Poverty- Bay B teams, tho former being scratch and the latter having a handicap of 14 goals. Tho game resulted in a win for the B team, the final scores being 17 goals to 12. Showery weather prevailed. To-morrow tho nolo cup raco and polo sports will bo held.
