"FINEST BUTTER IN THE WORLD."
IN.NEED OF ADVERTISING. The advertising campaign of New Zealand product", to which 1 "havo referred, has provided Mr. G. CSoodsir (Messrs. "SVccklol and Co.) with the opportunity for writing to "The Standard of Empire" to point out that "tho farmers of the Dominion malco tho! finest butter in the world —almost without exception. It is not often sold as French or Danish, for in its-imported character any expert could distinguish it from cither of these description's by its texture' and flavour." Mr. Goodsir says colonial butters are not sold under their proper names "simply because tho. Governments in Australia and New Zealand have failed to advertise the splendid merits of fchoir wares. It is almost impossible that private firms can'spend money , in .advertising the general merits of these products. If you can persuade tho Governments to advertise 4 all over the country, the prejudice which your correspondent justly complains of would soon disappear. 'Wako up, Australasia!'"
