VEHICLE TURKS A SOMERSAULT.

A two-wheeled vehicle was turned completely over in Willis Street yesterday afternoon. as the result of a collision with tramcar No. 31. The horse attached to the vehicle appeared to have taken fright, and, notwithstanding the efforts of the driver to keep it in clicrk, it cair.o round the corner from Lambton Quay into Willis Street at a good pacc. The tramcar was stationary near the corner, and one whtel of the vehicle caught in Ihe front stanchion of the car, with the result that the vehicle turned a somersault, and landed wrong sido up. The harness broke and freed the horse, while the driver landed on his feet in a wonderful mariner, and was not injured. The only damage that appeared to have reHiltetl lo the car was the twisting of the stanchion.
