Up to the present (slates the "Press") it lias not boon definitely decided whether tho Union Company's training ship Dartford will 1)3 docked at Lyttelton or go to Port Chalmers to undergo her survey. The vessel has still a quantity of coal to discharge, and will shortly tako in ballast to stiffen her. It is rumoured that, in view of the age and- the smallivoss of the Hartford, (ho Union Steam Ship Company has under consideration the question of purchasing a large four-master sailing vessel, with a currying capacity of about 3500 tons, to be employed as a training ship.
