At the Methodist Conference, Messrs. J. B. Beaclie, L. B. Neale.'and W. Roye were received on probation. Messrs. K. K. Blackmore. H. J. Marshall, and L. J. Werran: were appointed "to circuits as probationers' for.-lbno year., - A telegram was received 'stating that the Victorian Conference had defeated a motion to refer the separation question to the quarterly meeting, and the Now Zealand separation was unanimously approved. ,:. The conference decided to adopt the present rules regarding supernumerary and other funds, the present'Tatcs of contributions arid allowances'-to be continued for five, years, subject to any alteration made at .next ■ general conference as the result of the valuation to be made in 10li The balance-sheet of. the New Zealand supernumerary fund showed circuit contributions .£1530, ministers' .C 1052.
