APPEAL BY THE NEW REGENT. IBy Tclcsrapb—Press Association Cooyrleßtl . (Eec. March 6, 9.20 p.m.) Teheran, March 6. The Regent, Nasr-ul-Mulk, who was elected in September last, while on a visit to Europe, on taking the oath before the Mejliss, or National Assembly, stated that his delay in returning from abroad was due to telegraphic inquiries not satisfying him that the regency was a non-party office. He appealed to the nation to forget the political enmities of the past.
