Sir Thomas Brocklebank, Bart., of Liverpool, managing director of the Brocklebank line of steamers to the Far East, who has been in declining' health for some time, has died at Algeciras. Deceased was in early life a pronounced Liberal, hut on Ike introduction of Air. Gladstone's Homo Rulo Bill joined the Unionist narty. Ho was created a Baronet by Mr. Gladstone in ISBS. He took considerable interest in couwing.
