WELLINGTON SHAKE UAEKET. The mining share market was provided with a little excitement yesterday owing to. an official report that the reef had been cut in tho Saxon ground in tho deep level. Saxon shares advanced sharply, and were sold up to 2s. s'd. It is difficult to say whether the price will hold, as there are many cheap parcels on which profits can now be made. The transactions recorded yesterday were as under:— Saxon, 2s. sd. (second call); 2s. 5d., Zs. Hi. (third call). Talisman, 455. 6d. (second call). '■ Waihi,' 635. fid.-(first-call). ' Talisman, 2s.
