Tho name of the Bengali youth who threw a bomb at a motor-car containing Mr. Cowley, a Public Works engineer, is Nutherji. Ho confesses that he threw the bomb at the wrong car. It is believed that he intended to kill an officer of tho Criminal Investigation Department. Mr. Cowley escaped by cleverly catching the bomb.
