Mr. Thomas Henry Stephens, a wellknown South Wales solicitor, died at Cardiff recently, aged 81. He was appointed Official Receiver of Cardiff district on the passins of the Bankruptcy Act in ISB3, and retired a few years ai»o. He practised as a solicitor, in Cardiff for fifty-four years. The old politician lay "speechless" in bed; His cold was so had that he got no repose. He scarcely could think how to "act," it is said, To follow the "ayes," or to run with the "noes."
