LEGISLATION IN SOUTH AFRICA. Uy Telegraph—Pre33 Association— Oopyriffh^ (Rec. March 2, 0.5 a.m.) Cape Town, March 1. General Smuts, Minister for the Interior, has announced that legislation is to be introduced to control Asiatic immigration. The Government will accede to the. suggestion of Mr. Harcourt, Secretary of State for the Colonies, to admit a limited number of Indians.
