The vessel, which is coming from New York, has on board , 61 ,COO cases of oil for Wellington. THE AMOKURA. The Marino Department are in receipt of advice which states that the Aniokura has landed all the boys on Motuihi Island, and that the vessel will be fumigated before leaving again for the Kermacecs. It will bo about ten days hence beforo sho will be ready for sea.

The assessors have not yet been appointed. Another magisterial inquiry will also be held at Westnorl in a few days' time concerning the stranding of the scow Zingara at Karamca recently. At 6 p.m. yesterday the A. and A. Lines chartered steamer Dalniore, which arrived at Wellington recently from New lorK. cleared Port Chalmers for Adelaide, where sho loads wheat for U.K. or Continent. Ilaving complete;! repairs of a minor nature to her ballast tank, the Rosamond left port for Picton. Nelson, New Plymouth, and Onehunga, at midnight last night. Tongariro, R.M.S.. leaves Port Chalmers for Wellington to-nii.'ht, and is duo to arrive here on Thursday evening. On March 9 the vessel sails for London, via way ports. On Thursday afternoon tho chartered steamer Durham is expected to complete loading at Waitara. It is reported that the steamer Parthenia, 5160 tons, has been chartered to load general cargo at New York for Melbourne. Sydney, and New Zealand ports. Owing to there being no immediate work to be done in regard to. cable repairing, tho Government steamer Tutanekais crew have been paid off. Telegraphic advice received from Earner states that the trawler Nora Mvcn lelt Port Aliuriri for the Chatham Islands at 6.30 a.m. yesterday. Tho vessel will return about Saturday 'next, Wellington being her first port of call. On Friday next, the steamer Wairau, running under the agency of Jlessys. Dalgety and Co.. will arrive at Wellineton from Blenheim. She leaves the same afternoon for Karamea. The Hinemoa returned from her visit to Cape Palliser Lighthouse yesterday afternoon. Although a considerable swell was encountered on tho run out, no difficulty was experienced in landing Etores. The vessel will now be laid up for a month, during which time she will'undcrco overhaul and be placed on tho Sim for inspection. Mr. S. J.
