Present operations appear to bo confined to purchasing preserved mutton ami beef. Mr. Tudor, Minister for Trade and Customs, has stated that he has learned on good authority that the Besf Trust is trying to dispose of some of its shares in Australia with the object of getting important Australians into tho Trust, so as to secure a firm footing in Australia.
