They were entertained by tho Mayor an;l councillors at dinner, and afterwards met a biy public gathering in tho Olympia Hall. Tliey were presented with an address. Sir Joseph Ward spoko on tho samo subjects as at Duncdin, this being liis first address at Timaru. At tho closo tho mooting heartily chcored Sir Joseph and Lady Ward, who then left by train for Christehureh. * r
