TRAINING SHIP DARTFORD. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Chrlstchurch, February l 21. The Union Company's training ship Dartford arrived at Lyttelton at noon yesterday "all well", after a good passage of 14 days from Newcastle.- After discharging sho will dock for survey, and will also be fitted with extra accommodation for 12 new cadets. MURITAI DUE TO-DAY. Leaving Napier about noon yesterday in continuation of her voyage from London to Wellington, the Tysor Lino's steamer Muritai is duo in port early this morning. She. will ■ berth at the King's Wharf for the purpose of discharging Home cargo, and is expected to leave &r tho Blutf on Saturday afternoon.
lONIC REPORTED AT RIO. Cable advice received by the local agents of the Shaw, Saviil, and Albion Co. announces tho arrival of R.M.B. lonic at Rio do Janeiro. The vessel, which left Wellington for London on January 26, continued her journey tho same afternoon, and is scheduled to reach tho Home port on March 10. ULniABOA FROM SYDNEY. A few hours later than expected, the Huddart-Parker steamer Ulimaroa, from Sydney direct, dropped anchor in tho Stream at Wellington yesterday afternoon. On leaving the New South Wales, port on Saturday afternoon last, the vessel encountered head winds and beam seas for the first two days out. these weather conditions being responsible for delaying the vessel on her run across tho Tasman Sea. Subsequently the Ulimaroa experienced fine weather, but a nasty roll was still in cvidcnco until port was reached. Tho vessel brings a largo general cargo, included in which are 500 cases of fruit. Sho also brought transhipments ex the following vessels:—Augsburg, Rcrdsburg, Barbarossa, Gncisennu, Schwaben, Aluonlmin, Rostock, and Careyarra. : In continuation of licr running, tho Ulimaroa leaves Wellington at 5 p.m. today for southern ports, Hobart, and Mel-, bourne.
