PRESENTATION AT INVERCARGILL. (By Tolegraph—l'rcso Association./ Invercarqill, February 22. A mass meeting of citizens was field at the Theatre to-night, to bid farewell to tho Primo Minister prior to his leaving for tho Coronation and Imperial Conference. Tho Mayor (Mr. Ott) presided, and tho Theatre was crowded. Sir Joseph Ward was presented with an illuminated address, nnd cordial speeches were made by the Mayor and Mr. Hanan, M.P, Sir Joseph Ward, in reply, covered much tho same ground as that traversed in his speech at tho Bluff on tho previous night. Ho leaves for Dunedin in the morning.
