The fourth Test match, Australia v. South Africa, -was concluded to-day, Australia winning by 530 runs. The weather was ideal, and the wicket good. ' j Schuarz and i'aulkner opened the ] bowling^ , " and '. Sehwarz nearly bowled" Kansford,with his fourth delivery. Hor- ' dern, however, was soon dismissed, being caught at short-leg. Hβ had'batted for ■. jj 41 minutes, and had been manifestly ' j hampered by his injured fingers. Hjs score included three fourers. Schwarz'a j first wicket had : cost 139 runs. ] Eansford reached SO in 64 minutes, but \ Carter was short-lived, being caught at I Bhort-leg.
