Ho carried the poisoned coffeo from tho kitchen to the guests in the 0 diningroom. It is,understood Hutchison p was suffering from some form of y dementia, and was apparently jealous of g a deceased guest's attention to a woman. t j For several days he stayed in Jersey, under tho namo of "Harrison." Hβ was growing a beard, and remained indoors. Ho stated ho belonged to Ilford. When a sergeant of police was pursuing him up tho stairs of a boardinghouso in s Guernsey, Hutchison drew a phial con--1 taining prussic acid from his pocket and r swallowed tho contents. e The sergeant seized the phial, but death ■ was almost immediate.
