NO FEDERAL LOAN,
By TeleßrapS-Prcss Asseclatlon-Copyrlsht. Melbourne, February 17. Queensland has; decided' not to continuo negotiations for a loan'of half a million from tho Federal Government. It is understood tho State is in search of a larger amount, and will go to tho market whero it will get more advantageous terms. / ■
Mr. Dcnham, tho Premier, states that ho has. decided, in the best interests of Queensland, not to tako a Federal loan. -
