Mr. MacDonnell, Minister for Agriculture, to nationalise the health administration. Special stress was laid on the nationalisation of hospitals, the registration of persons practicing" the curative art, the regulation of medical fees, the care of maternity cases, and the protection of child life. f s Tho deputation asked for the' creation of a special Department of State. Mr. MacDonnell' gave a sympathetic reply. and promised that Cabinet' would give its consideration to the requests made. Personally he favoured the nationalisation of the hospitals at- the earliest opportunity. ,
