Twenty-two of the boys were sent to places in the South Island, and twentyeight to tho North Island, and, although long distances had to be covered.by both and railway, occupying in soma cases from two to three days' travelling, the whole of the boys reached tlieir respective destinations without hitch and without undue delay.
