The wedther still continues very.-dry in Waitiina West, and its effcct on dairy stock is commencing to be noticed in the falling off of cheir condition. Sheip, however, are-reported to be doiig very well. Every, precaution is being tatelr by the settlers to prevent any,outbreak oi fire while the district is in such an inflammable condition.
