Watson's motion, adopted a pledge to be taken by Labour members of tho Upper Ilouso, and renewed after each general election,, involving a mise to do their utmost to promote the carrying out of the Labour platform and abolition of the Upper.' House. Members signing tho pledge will a. caucus of Legislative Councillors, but will not be allowed to participate in the Assembly caucus. The resolution was carried, bnt by an insufficient majority to enable it-to ba placed on the platform, consequentlythe three years' probation rule stands.
