Wcllcsley in their first essay made 177 (Hume 48, Maitland 31, M'Evedy 28, Bnrt 14, Cook 12, ami Gilmor 10), leaving them eleven to get to win in tho second innings, which they did with tho loss of ono wicket. In tho B game AVellesley mado 70 (Turnbull 21 and Brown J6) and 122 (Thompson 52, Brown 17, Smith 13, Dobson 11)., The Manawntu Club's first innings totalled 111 (Moore 30, M'Hardy 20, Pratt H, Louisson 12, and Morrah 11), and in tho second innings 89 for seven wickets (Moore 28, M'Hardy 12, Gibbons 10, and Nathan 10). Jlnnnwatu thus won by three wickets. The visiting teams were entertained .at a dinner to-night.
