Tho Union' Compauy's, .vessels, which would bo used for tho new Canadfi—New Zealand contract,'would no to Sydney in any case, and letters could then bo sent at poundage rates. A postal schemo in any new' contract made by tho Commonwealth was beyond present discussion, but if > a traflo service was desired, the Customs Department could establish' it. \ .-i
