Splendid clean burns nro generally, reported, tho weather having been most favourable.'.for tho operation, and tho sowing of grass seed on tho cleaned areas is now going actively forward. Tho'Wanga'nui Agricultural Association intends, to do all possible to check the backward movement in stock entries which has been in evidence at the last two shows, and has sot up a strong committee to bo called tho Stock Committee, with power to uso all desirable means'for increasing entries in these classes.
