Colonel Henry Parry Cardcn, lato of the Duke of Cornwall's'' Bcgimcnt, was seised with an attack of anoplexy whilo out hunting with the Newry Harriers, and fell from his horse while galloping up the fields in the Townland of Crcevy. When picked up ho was dead. Ho retired from the Army fifteen years ago, and took up his residonco at Savilmore, near Newry. lie was fifty-six years of age, a fearless rider, magistrate for County Down, and Master of the Newry Harriers, no leaves a wifo and family. ■ Search is being mode by the Paris police for certain individuals who haw mndo a living for some time by painting white »pott on naolcut partridge* to make them sspear yourm biraii . ■ • „ . .
