One toblcspoonful of cornflour, 1 breakfastcupful of boiling water, ono tabicspoontul of butter, ono tcacupful of sugar, two eggs ono large lemon (grated unrt and juice). , ' Mix the cornflour with a little, cold water, pour the boiling wator on to it, stirring well, return to tho saucepan, stir until it boils then add the butter and sugar, tho grated , lemon rind and tho juicp. Take, off the fire, let it cool a tittle add tho well-beaten eggs. Lino the rim and a littlo of tho sides of a pie dish with good pastry. Pour in tho mixturo and bako until tho pastry is cooked.
