Tho ground was in good condition, and tho wickets played very fast. Tho VivianRivals match saw a good finish. The Rivals in their second innings wanted to make 118 runs to win. They just managed to get tho required number within n few minutes of timo for tho loss of four wickets. Jl'Kenzio played a lucky innings of 51, not out. Ho ought, though, to havo been taken in the slips when he had made six. . Stainton played a good sound game for his 40. Artillery had an easy win over Post aud Teleipaph by eight wickcts and 3 runs. Playing for Post and Telegraph ICnapp put together 50 in fino style, showing good all round cricket. Toms, for his 27 not out, played a steady gamo throughout, not giving a chance.
