The committee appointed by tho Minister for Works to inquiro into tho question of utilising trackless trollies and motor-omnibuses for relieving the congested tram traffic, in Sydney, reports that tho only way of comprehensively relieving the traflic.is by tho construction of a city railway, and underground tramways opening on the traffic routes. The report favours trackless trollies,- and motoromnibuses for streets outside the city.
