Not being a delegate at in tho ordinary sense of the word, tbo State Attorney-General hod no locus standi to give such notice; but, he having mado his peaco with delegates wero graciously ■ inclined, aiid by consent 'Mr. Holman handed in'.the following, among two'other notices motion: — "That the Interstate Labour Conference immediately take into considcrat'on the remoulding of the whole of • tho Federal Constitution, with a view to the abolition of tho Senate and . : the High: Court." ) It was thought that Mr. Holman!s idea in moving this was that .tho referendum proposals alone: would' only . make tho position of alftirs ns'unsatisfactory .as the Labour narty regard ,them- to-day; and iii his view tho only war to secure a complete realisation of Labour's objectives is to have a uni-cameral federal Legislature, with no High Court, to interpret the.
