A passenger train on the Grand Trunk Railway struck a light engine near Paris, Ontario. Tho train was derailed. Tho coaches -were telescoped, and tho wreckage burned. Five trainmen, the mail clerk?, and one passenger were killed.. Tho passenger was imprisoned in a burning car and unable to escape, The light engine's crew jumped from the engine anil were not injured.
